Look for small breaks
A chipped corner or fine crack can be difficult to see from the ground. Compare the tile line and use a photograph if necessary.
Check the tiles beside it
Damage caused by foot traffic, impact or frost may not be limited to one tile.
Use the right profile
If an interlocking tile does not match the existing profile, it may sit badly and lift the tiles around it.
